About Me

If you've read my author profile on Amazon or Goodreads, than you know a little bit about me. It's true- I love to line-dance and am very much addicted to smoothies and Chapstick, but that's only one teeny tiny small part of who I am.
I am an avid reader, as in I read about a book a day, which really sucks for my bank account. ;) I don't write as often as I should, but when I do, I bang it all out at once. Or try to.

Most of the time, I'm oblivious to the world around me. I feel like I'm always stuck inside my head, in the stories I'm reading or the worlds I'm creating. But instead of seeing it as a curse, I see it as a blessing. It means that I have to pay extra attention to the smaller details, and in doing so, I feel like I see a lot more than  I would if I just saw it all. I don't even know if that makes sense, but just go with it.

I used to let other people's opinions dictate my life, but somewhere between then and now I stopped living for them and starting thriving for me. I'm more comfortable with myself now than I ever have been. It's liberating.

I don't like to clean, or cook...or do laundry. Actually, I'm a terrible homemaker. But I can assemble a train track or build a house out of legos in two seconds flat.

I hate painting my nails, but I love nail polish. I hate heels, but I own, like, twenty pairs. Same thing with jeans. If my house were on fire, the only thing I'd grab (assuming my family was already safe) would be the SD card containing all of my writing and my camera (my phone would most likely already be on me, since it rarely leaves my side.)

I love the beach. I would be covered in tattoos if I had the money. Every night, I drink a glass of orange juice with dinner. I hate feet. And dog hair.

What else is there to say? I'm kind of weird, kind of normal, and more than okay with it all.
